Travelling party: Couple

The photo doesn\'t sell this lovely farm site. The pitches are plenty big enough. Some of them are under trees, and some in the open, next to the field with horses. The facilities are basic but adequate. The hot water in t showers is a bit more than lukewarm. There is a little cabin with lots of tourist information, including copies of large scale maps which you can use to find walks from the campsite. There is a delightful route through woods to Chataigne. There you can have lunch at Le Bois Delice, which is hugely popular with locals. Get there by 2pm to be sure of being served.
There is a table outside the farmhouse which is a WiFi (\"weefee\") hotspot. If you play table tennis, bring your own bats and balls. And possibly a clip on net.
We had a marvellous supper at Le Bon Pâté in Gennes sur Loire. It looks like nothing from the outside, and it only does pizzas and salads, but they are really, really good, as is the house white.
